Step-by-Step Process to Add Requirements:

  1. Navigating to the Requirements Section:
    • Once you're setting up your FamTrip on FamGuru, go to the 'requirements' section.

      Adding Passport Requirement:

    • Click on 'add a new requirement.'
    • Choose 'passport copy' from the drop-down list.
    • Ask advisors to upload a clear file of their passport.
    • Set a deadline for the submission. For instance, if the trip is in October, you might set the deadline for October 3rd.
    • FamGuru will automatically send reminders to advisors if they haven't submitted the required documents as the deadline approaches.

      Additional File Uploads:

    • If there are specific forms or documents that advisors need to complete and return, you can upload them directly to the requirements section. Advisors can then download, fill, and re-upload them.

      Adding Text-Based Requirements:

    • Apart from document uploads, you can also ask advisors specific questions. For example, if you're organizing a trip to France and considering a caviar tasting session, you can inquire, "Do you eat caviar?"
    • Advisors can answer using the text box, specifying "yes," "no," or "not sure."

Monitoring Requirement Submission:

  • On your FamGuru dashboard, navigate to the 'participants' section.
  • Here, you'll find a 'documents' column that tracks the submission status of required documents for each advisor.
  • As advisors submit their documents, you'll receive notifications both within the platform and in your email.
  • For each submitted document, you can view, accept, or reject it as necessary.
