I've been invited to a supplier hosted Fam. Why can't I see the trip or itinerary?

If you've been invited on a Fam but can't find the trip or see the itinerary from the supplier, there are 3 reasons why this might be the case:


  • Inconsistent Email Address: The email address your host used to invite you is not the same as the email address with which you set up your account. You have two choices:
    • Contact your host and ask them to delete you at the other email and instead add you at your email, e.g., the address where you have your account. Once they do you'll receive a fresh invite and you can finish the acceptance process and see the trip.
    • You can set up a different FamGuru account using the email address to which you were invited. Completely log out of your first account (settings "cog" wheel, lower right of screen) and then create a new account with the email address your host used for you. Unfortunately at the moment we aren't able to simply change an address for you.

  • You Mistyped Your Email during account set-up: You'd be surprised how often this happens! How will you know? Look at your profile page at settings "cog" wheel (lower right of screen) and click on Personal Profile. Is your email correct? If not, you'll need to re-create your account with the correct address.
    • To do this, completely log out of your incorrect account (settings "cog" wheel, lower right of screen) and then create a new account with the correct email. You can return to your invite email form your host and re-click. It should work this time! Unfortunately at the moment we aren't able to simply change your address for you.

  • Your host hasn't published the FamGuru itinerary yet. If you have accepted the trip, you click on it, and there is no itinerary showing, the host hasn't published it yet. Once they are ready they will share it with you. Check in with your host to see what their timeline is! Also check the "files" tab (3 little lines, upper left corner) - they may have a PDF version here for reference as well.
