Suppliers: Shared Photo Gallery - Purpose & Adding Photos Before & During Trip

Purpose of the Shared Photo Gallery:

  1. Different from Hotel Photos: The shared gallery serves a unique purpose, separate from the spot where you might usually put hotel photos.
  2. Shared Experience: This gallery is meant to be shared between you (the supplier) and the advisors on a trip.

How to Use the Gallery:

  1. Getting Started:
    • Begin by populating the gallery with your photos, which can serve to excite advisors about the upcoming trip or promote sharing on social platforms.

      During the Trip:

    • Advisors can also access and contribute to the gallery. Be it selfies, captivating sunset images, or fun activities, they can share memories with their colleagues and you.
    • These images become part of a shared FamGuru archive. Unlike transient WhatsApp groups, this archive ensures memories endure, organized by specific trips and dates.

      Uploading Images:

    • Click on the 'gallery' to see the images (if any). To add images, click on 'add new' and choose the desired photos from your computer.
    • Multiple images can be uploaded simultaneously.
    • Example: A picture of the Eiffel Tower was uploaded to demonstrate the process.

      Nature of Photos:

    • The gallery can be populated with images of destinations, activities, or even hotels.
    • For hoteliers conducting single hotel fam trips, you can include photos of your hotel. However, the itinerary section also has a spot where professional hotel pictures can be placed.
    • The primary goal of this gallery is to act as a teaser and be a repository for candid memories.

    • Once advisors start uploading photos, you'll see the images appear in the gallery. Each image will have a photo credit, indicating which advisor uploaded which photo, useful for tagging on social platforms.

      Sharing from the Gallery:

    • Any image in the gallery can be easily shared. A handy icon on each photo allows users to share directly to platforms like Instagram, Facebook, or even via email, text, or WhatsApp.
